Esta tecnolog\u00eda sustituyo a las l\u00e1mparas de luz de hal\u00f3geno que requer\u00edan que se cambiara el foco una vez al a\u00f1o, porque se podr\u00eda perder la intensidad de la luz de un 30% al 70% por obscurecerse el bulbo.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando se usan focos de hal\u00f3geno una gran cantidad de energ\u00eda es transmitida en forma de calor y no de luz.
